This classic 1962 Mercury Comet is in very good condition. Equipment includes a 170 C. I. six cylinder engine and 3 speed manual transmission. Both run and shift well. No power steering or power brakes, but on a car that weighs as little at this one, you really don't need it. The blue body and white top were painted several years ago and the patina remains very presentable. No rust bubbles under the paint, and nothing other than very minor surface rust is evident. Everything is solid, including trunk, doors, rocker panels and fenders. New white front and rear seats. Headliner needs minor repair around the rear window. Arm rest on driver side door panel needs repair from wear. Carpet appears almost new. All other interior components are in good condition. Available for a pre-purchase inspection, this one is located in Statesboro, Georgia.
