This over-the-top, GT500 Eleanor replica is in absolutely perfect condition, and ready for display or as a weekend toy. Only 141 test miles on the odometer since a complete two year rotisserie restoration. There isn't a nicer one on the planet.
The engine is a Ford, 351 Windsor full roller engine from Ford Racing and Performance Parts (FRPP), rated at more than 400 Horse Power and 400 LB/FT of Torque, fully balanced and blueprinted, with MSD electronic ignition and a 100 amp chrome single wire alternator.
Power from the Ford Racing crate engine is transferred to the rear wheels via a Tremec TKO 600 five speed transmission, a Hydramax hydraulic clutch, Quick Time bell housing, and a seamless DOM driveshaft with solid U-joints and a 9" ford rear end with nodular 3:50 to 1 gears. All components are designed specifically for a 1967 Mustang or Shelby unibody.
Putting power to the ground with Total Control Products aluminum motor mounts, and coil over front suspension with fully adjustable shocks. Steering is Total Control Products rack and pinion power steering with high performance KRC pump and remote aluminum reservoir.
Additional suspension components include Total Control Products sub frame connectors with X-cage reinforcing the unibody to withstand the extra torque from the Ford Racing engine. A Shelby style roll bar was installed and a Flaming River brushed aluminum, "Eleanor Series" tilt steering column with "Shelby GT500E" engraved into the end of the column. Correct Eleanor LeCarra wood grain steering wheel, Baer 4 wheel disc brake system with Shelby stamped and painted on the front calipers.
Side exit exhaust is the only correct system made for this Eleanor replica with JBA piping and Spintech mufflers exiting through the correct stainless tips. The rockers were professionally done by Gateway Classic Mustang, with JBA ceramic coated mid length headers.
The electrical system distributes power through a complete American Autowire classic update series wiring harness for entire car. 100 amp chrome single wire alternator and electronic ignition AMK Shelby master bolt kits for the entire car
Additional upgrades include PRC Aluminum radiator with dual electric fan set up, complete PIAA Eleanor light kit and Shelby sequential tail light kit, functioning side scoops to cool the brakes and upper scoops with functioning interior vents.
Correct Eleanore PSE wheels 17x8 with Z rated 245/40 17 tires, correct Eleanore pop open side fill gas cap with functioning side fill kit. Shelby GT500 emblems adorn the fenders, dash and tail light panel with Shelby style hood pins.
All work was performed by Gateway Classic Mustang, a recognized leader in Mustang performance and restoration. This car is registered and recognized in the Eleanor world registry, registered as #278 in the Eleanor World Registry.

Everything on the exterior is new every nut, bolt, trim piece or anything else you can think of was replaced with new high quality parts. All parts are either of OEM quality or better.

Everything on the interior is brand new except the rear fold down seat and the factory center console. The rear fold down seat and the deluxe center console were both meticulously restored using only the highest quality parts and everything was replaced including the foam on the rear seat. All parts are of OEM quality or better. The interior has the black high back ProCar bucket seats with Carroll Shelby embroidered into the back of them from Unique Performance. The gauge cluster is the correct Eleanor gauge cluster by Classic Instruments with the Shelby Snake on the gauges and Carroll Shelby signature on the Tach and Speedometer (from Classic Recreations the only one authorized to sell this gauge cluster). The stereo is by Retrosound with auxillary ports to plug in your mp3 or smart phone, and Kenwood speakers front and rear. The rear speakers are mounted in the trap door. The front ones are in the kick panels that were made with the speaker pods in them. The trunk has a complete carpet kit in it with a Shelby trunk mat. The rear fold down seat is also covered with a Shelby trunk mat. The pedals are Total Control Products pedals (from Unique Performance). I also have the Shelby shift lever with the Go Baby Go sticker and knob with the button - not installed because I did not like the position of the shifter lever. The car is equipped with remote trunk release. The interior has Xtreme Dynamat sound deadening throughout the entire interior - floor pans, doors, rear interior quarters, and firewall.
