This beautiful 1962 Chevy Impala SS is one of the nicest examples you’ll find. It’s fully restored and upgraded with performance and cosmetic improvements. Only 5,000 miles have been put on it since its restoration! The engine is a 327 C. I. with almost 600 HP, mated with a Borg Warner T-10 four speed tranny and a clutch-pac posi rear end with 4:11 ratio gears.
This classic Chevy Impala was completely stripped down and bead blasted to bare metal during restoration. New quarter panels and lower rocker panels were replaced on both sides and completed to factory specifications. The exterior paint is perfect with no scratches or rust blisters. It comes in the color 1969 “Hugger Orange” with Strawberry Pearl in the clear coat. Subtle ghost flames were done by a well known artist in the Pacific NW making this a one of a kind ’62 Impala. The car has never been in an accident and the body is perfect. The only exterior flaws are a driver side door handle with some minor pits in the chrome, and some of the original Super Sport trim has some minor imperfections.
The interior is in perfect condition as well. The dash was repainted to match the car with new electronic video gauges. The seats are done in black leather and the headliner is finished in black velour. The new black carpet sets it apart from all other 1962 Impala models, which were finished in all red interior.
If you’re a fan of 1962 Impalas, you won’t find a nicer one than this! This classic Impala is located in Washington State.
